Registration
For registration,
1. We recommend reviewing the policy before signing up for our program.
2. We require a commitment of a minimum of THREE CLASSES/HOURS a week to register.
For online sign up:
a)please call to verify class availability.
b) Fill out the google registration form
c) Sign and Date the policy form
d) Pay 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit by the designated date
* The registration is not considered complete until all forms and waivers are signed and full tuition is paid by the first day of class. Tuition is Non-Refundable.
* Tuition can be paid in cash (Zelle or Venmo), by personal check (Payable to Dreamer Academy)
*We DO NOT accept credit card payments
There will be a $35 charge on all returned checks.
Safety
Safety of our students is our top priority.
1) Drop/Off and Pick Up Procedure:
All students shall be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time they are dropped off at the Academy. The academy shall not be held liable whatsoever for any students left unattended at the parking lot or the front entrance during drop off and or pick up.
For pick up, a parent or legal guardian shall pick up the students at the waiting area.
School shall not be liable whatsoever in the event a student leaves the premises on their own without accompanied by a parent/guardian.
2) Code of Conduct
-students must communicate in an appropriate manner to teachers & teaching assistants.
-students must follow all safety guidelines
(wearing masks, sanitizing hands etc.)
-students are expected to participate in class
-students must remain in their seats during the time of instruction
-students should handle all academy properties with care
-NO weapons, No profanity, NO fighting, NO violence
Students who disrupt classes & do not follow the code of conduct would have a conversation with the director of the program. Parents would be notified of the incident the same day with a phone call or an email. By 2nd offense, the student may be removed from the class. Tuition shall not be pro-rated or refunded in this event.
DREAMER CLASS GUIDE:
Dreamer Academy reserves the right to do this without notification:
1) Use a substitute when needed
2) Change Workbook or Materials to suit the need of the students
3) Assign Teachers appropriate for Group Lessons
Refunds/withdrawl
· Withdrawal requests must be delivered to the Director, in writing, one week prior to the effective date.
· Verbal notifications or missed classes are not acceptable forms of notification of intent to withdraw.
· There is NO TUITION REFUND for in any case
(i.e. change of mind, change of student’s schedule etc)
-Tuition credit will only be allowed with a medical emergency.
Make-up Class/Class Closure
Cancellations
1. For absence, must be made 24-hours in advance. One make-up class will be provided per semester. If we did not receive any text, voicemail, phone call, or email regarding the absence of a child, we cannot provide the make up for group lessons beyond one class.
2. For cancellations of one-on-one private tutoring, notice must be given 24-hours in advance. For Monday classes, cancellation notice must be received by 7pm the prior Friday.
3. If the student gets ill and cannot attend the tutoring session, you may call us the same day. Make up sessions would only be allowed with a doctor’s note. No show for the private lesson, will be charged the full amount.
4. If the private tutoring is cancelled due to the teacher's absence, make-up lessons would be arranged for the earliest convenient date.
5. Class cancellation: in the case of lack of enrollment, class is subject to cancellation. In this case, full refund will be issued in the same form of payment.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
The school reserves the right to use substitute teachers when necessary.
SCHOOL CLOSINGS
We will be closed during Thanksgiving & Christmas and other major holidays. Please refer to our calendar document for a specific date.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If school should be closed due to inclement weather or emergencies, all classes cancellations and information will be emailed or text messages.
