Dreamer Academy Summer Camp Policy 2022
a) Early Bird Discount/Registration/Deposit
Early Bird Discount may only be applied to registration & payment received by Feb 20, 2022
20% off: full day 6 weeks
10% off: half-day 6 weeks
10% off: full day 4-5 weeks(Dreamer family only)
5% off: 2nd or 3rd child
Price listed for 6 weeks already includes some discounts. If registered for less than 6 weeks, tuition will be calculated based on weekly rates.
After filling out the registration form, we must receive a $300 nonrefundable deposit per child to complete the registration.
b) Payment/ Cancellation/Change of Classes
Tuition Balance must be paid in Full by May 2, 2022.
Request for class changes(going from half-day to full-day –extending weeks)
must be made before May 2, 2022. We cannot accommodate changes once we finalize teaching assignments.
Request for cancellation:
You can submit a cancellation request(via email only) until 6/15/2022 explaining the reason for cancellation. 75% of paid tuition will roll over for class credit for Fall 2022 semester only if a letter/email is received by 6/15/2022.
No Refund after the start date:
As of the first day of the summer camp(7/5/2022) Tuition cannot be refunded or transferred(used as class credit).
c) Class Size & Assignment:
The class size for elementary students in the summer will be 3-10 students per class.
Depending on the nature of the class, students will be placed in a smaller or a larger group.
Depending on student performance in the summer sessions, students may change a class but the final decision will be made by the director of the academy based on teacher evaluation.
c) Drop Off - Pick Up
Our doors will open for student drop off at 8:50 AM.
Our director or teachers will greet the students at the parking lot. Please do not send up the students by themselves. If you need to drop off your child early for work, please contact us to make morning care arrangement(extra pay)
Pick up time is from 3:00-3:15 PM.
If you cannot make it by 3:15 PM, please make arrangements for our after-care program. We have an after-care program available with added charge until 6 PM. Please call us to apply for after-care.
d) All families entering the summer session must complete and sign three form
1) Dreamer Policy and Procedures
2) Covid-19 Waiver
3) Photo/Video Consent
e) Attendance & Make Up Sessions
-If the students are late or need to be picked up early, please notify the center by Text or Emails.
-Our summer program is a group lesson, there is no make-up/prorated refund for missed classes.
-If a student gets ill or has to quarantine, parents will get prorated tuition credit for Fall 2022 semester. Please let the school know immediately. We require a 5 day quarantine with negative PCR results to come back into the program. Even if the child has to quarantine longer than 5 days, the school will be able to grant credit only upto 5 days.
f) Code of Conduct
-students must communicate in an appropriate manner to teachers & teaching assistants.
-students must follow all safety guidelines (wearing masks, sanitizing hands etc.)
-students are expected to participate in class
-students must remain in their seats during the time of instruction
-students should handle all academy properties with care
Students who disrupt classes & do not follow the code of conduct would have a conversation with the director of the program. Parents would be notified of the incident the same day with a phone call or an email. By 2nd offense, the student may be removed from the class. Tuition shall not be pro-rated or refunded in this event.
g) Dreamer Academy Reserves the right to:
1) Assign classes to students based on evaluation
2) Change schedule throughout the course of the day
3) Send home a student if he or she is showing symptoms
4) Use substitute in the case of teacher’s absence
5) Supplement or Remove Textbook/workbook to enhance the lesson
